Privacy policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
SATORI CELL is a direct-to-consumer cosmetics shop. We collect information for one purpose: to sell you a bottle of serum and get it to your door. No profiling, no ad tracking, and we do not sell personal information. Below is exactly what we take, who we hand it to, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.
This page describes how we handle data. It is not legal advice. The version published here is the one that applies.
1. Who processes your information
- Data controller: SATORI Life Technology Inc, a Delaware corporation operating from Santa Clara, California, trading as SATORI CELL.
- Address: 3108 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054, United States.
- Privacy contact: admin@satorilifetech.com · +1 (650) 444-5916.
2. What we collect
- Account details — email address and name. Used to sign you in, send order confirmations, and reach you if something goes wrong with an order.
- Delivery details — recipient name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number. Used to get the parcel to you and handed to the carrier for delivery.
- Order records — what you bought, quantity, amount, order and dispatch dates, tracking number, and any return or refund.
- Payment identifiers — the customer and payment identifiers Stripe returns, plus the card brand and last four digits. The full card number, expiry, and security code are collected and held by Stripe directly and never pass through our servers.
- Technical logs — IP address and basic request data, used only for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and debugging.
3. What we do not collect
- No face photographs, skin profiles, or biometric information of any kind.
- No health or medical records.
- No advertising trackers, no cross-site fingerprinting.
- No access to your full card details.
4. What we use it for
- Fulfilling orders: taking payment, packing, shipping, and providing tracking.
- Customer service: answering questions and handling returns, refunds, and delivery problems.
- Transactional email: order confirmations, dispatch notices, refund notices. These are not marketing.
- Legal obligations: keeping transaction and tax records.
- Security: detecting and blocking fraudulent orders, abuse, and automated attacks.
5. We do not sell your personal information
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising — both terms as defined by the California CCPA/CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months and do not intend to.
- We do not pass your email or address to data brokers or third-party marketers. Because no sale or sharing takes place, this site does not need and does not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control.
6. Service providers
Running the shop means a handful of companies touch the minimum data they need. Each is contractually limited to processing it in order to provide a service to us, and nothing else.
- Stripe, Inc. (United States) — payment processing and checkout. Card numbers are collected by Stripe directly; we receive only the outcome, the card brand, and the last four digits.
- Amazon Web Services (United States, us-east-1) — site hosting and database storage, plus transactional email through Amazon SES.
- Shipping carriers — we hand over the recipient's name, address, and phone number so the parcel can be delivered.
7. How long we keep it
- Orders, invoices, and related transaction records: seven years from the order date, to meet US federal and California tax and business-record requirements.
- Account details (email, name, address book): for as long as the account exists, then erased within 30 days of deletion.
- Technical logs: 90 days at most.
- After an account is deleted, the transaction records we are legally required to keep (order number, amount, date) remain, but are unlinked from your identifying details.
8. Your rights
- Know: ask us which categories of personal information we collected, used, and disclosed in the preceding twelve months.
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information; name and address can also be edited in your account.
- Delete: ask us to erase your personal information, except records we are legally required to retain.
- Non-discrimination: exercising any of these rights will never change your price, service, or delivery.
- How to exercise them: write to admin@satorilifetech.com or use the contact page. We verify your identity first and normally respond within 45 days, with one further 45-day extension only where genuinely needed, and we will tell you in advance. You may also use an authorised agent.
California residents hold these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We extend them to every customer regardless of where you live.
9. Cookies
- Session cookie — strictly necessary; without it you cannot stay signed in or complete checkout.
- Language preference cookie — remembers whether you chose English or Chinese.
- Stripe sets its own cookies at checkout for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies. If that ever changes, it will be written on this page first.
10. Security
- Everything is served over HTTPS, the database sits in a restricted private network, and administrative access is limited to authorised staff.
- No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as California law requires.
11. Children
- This shop is for adults. We do not knowingly sell to, or collect personal information from, anyone under 16. If we find such information we delete it — write to us if you spot any.
12. Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy; the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
- Material changes are emailed to existing customers.
